Class Description

Price : $385, HST included* Nerikomi is a traditional Japanese pottery technique, which involves layering colored clay and then slicing them to create unique patterns. This class is tailored to experienced potters who wish to expand their creative horizons and learn new methods to add vibrant patterns and colours to their ceramic creations. Prior handbuilding experience needed. Class Breakdown Week 1 : Building Blocks Week 2 : Slab designs Week 3 : Inlaid designs Week 4 : Making and refining using what you have learned All materials and tools will be provided ( Pre coloured clay ) During the 4 weeks course, you will be able to create up to 7 pieces. Finished piece will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup after 3 weeks. What to bring: Please bring your own apron & towel. We do not provide apron and towel. What to wear: Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and wear something comfortable. Refund Eligibility : No refunds. Rescheduling : NO rescheduling and NO make up class.
